Who we are
Redball Cricket Dashboard is operated by Redball Cricket Stats from New Zealand. For privacy enquiries, contact support@redballcricketstats.com.
What we collect
Account data: email address and Firebase user ID (UID). Subscription data: plan type, subscription status, trial status and trial end date, Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Usage analytics: page views, endpoints accessed, response times, and blocked access attempts (e.g. premium feature access by free-tier users). Search analytics: search terms and timestamps. Technical data: IP address (hashed for rate limiting; raw IPs are not stored), browser and device details, authentication cookies and tokens.
Why we collect it
To provide authentication, access control, usage limits, and dashboard functionality. To process billing and subscriptions via Stripe. To send service-related communications (see Email communications below). To secure the platform and detect abuse or fraud. To monitor reliability and improve product performance.
Email communications
We send two types of email. Transactional emails related to your account and subscription: trial lifecycle notifications (welcome, reminder, expiry), subscription confirmations, payment receipts, and support responses. These are service-related and are sent regardless of marketing preferences. Marketing emails: product updates, cricket insights, and feature announcements. These are only sent if you have opted in via the newsletter preference in your account settings. You can opt out at any time from your account page.
Who we share with
Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing. Google Cloud (including Cloud Run and Cloud Logging) for hosting and operational logs. Gmail SMTP for sending transactional and marketing emails. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention
Usage and search analytics are retained for approximately 90–365 days. Account and billing references (including trial email tracking data) are retained while your account is active. After account deletion, certain operational and legal records may be retained for up to 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records independently per their own retention policy.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@redballcricketstats.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you delete your account, we will remove your Firestore user document, usage history, and Firebase authentication record. Active Stripe subscriptions are cancelled.
Cookies
We use authentication and session cookies required for login and protected routes. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards including HTTPS encryption, nonce-based Content Security Policy, parameterised database queries, and rate limiting. No system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.
International transfers
The service is operated from New Zealand. Data may be processed in other jurisdictions depending on infrastructure and service providers (including Google Cloud in Europe and Stripe in the United States). By using the service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.
Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page and the effective date is updated. For material changes that affect how we use your personal data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notification.
