Standard Formula

Rn = Ro + K × (W - We)
  • Rn: New Rating
  • Ro: Old Rating
  • K: Weighting Factor (Impact of one game)
  • W: Actual Result (1=Win, 0.5=Draw, 0=Loss)
  • We: Expected Result (based on rating difference)

Key Adjustments

Innings Win Bonus: Victories by an innings often attract a higher K-factor or bonus multiplier (~1.2x).

Away Win Bonus: Winning away from home is statistically harder and rewards more points.

Draws: If a lower-rated team draws, they gain points. Note: Draws between evenly matched teams often result in 0.0 change.
